2012 : Selected for the european project « Take Five Europe »
2011: Nominated “Instrumental Discovery French Music Awards.
2009: Winner of the Rezzo contest during Jazz à Vienne.
2007: Group prize at the National Jazz competition in La Défense, France.

We never seize to be overwhelmed by the vitality and beauty contained in the music of saxophonist Céline Bonacina. This young French musician and composer must have an unyielding character and driving force that gives her the ability to play the huge baritone sax beyond all laws of gravity. And she constantly displays new sides to her artistic personality.
Nothing appears impossible, all paths are open, every tone is chosen with care and great passion. Her latest album, significantly entitled Open Heart, was released last year on the German label ACT.
