A large multimedia concert of several interconnected scenes in Strasbourg and in the world, mixing live music, recorded and broadcast streaming interventions, allowing musicians around the world to take part in the show. The WSS will be visible in its final online and on ARTE concert. This show will be the conclusion of the first World Sax Day. All the musicians wishing to take part in the show will gather at Place Kléber to share this special moment with the rest of the world through digital tools.
Start a dialogue between Bach’s works and klezmer music : this is the audacious challenge of two musicians couples, a violinist and a violinist-altist, a saxophonist and a cellist. In an open mind they highlight the dialogue between written and orality, orient and occident, classical and popular, the string trio and saxophone.

Passionate for the saxophone’s first steps in jazz, the musicians of this sextet actively perform in many styles, sometimes humorus, around ragtime.
SaxFactory and Co is a project constituted by SaxFactory (ensemble of young saxophonists from the Strasbourg Conservatory) and the band Sax and Co (bringing together saxophonists of the music schools of the Urban Community of Strasbourg and the Alsace region) for a series of concerts around festive pieces specially composed for the occasion.
Sounds at an exhibition is an interactive visit, conceived as an itinerant concert, where an unusual guide, a saxophonist, comments through the voice of her instrument the museum’s works of art.
