Among others from the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris, where he obtained a Saxophone Award in 1983 in the class of Daniel Deffayet Frédéric Lagoutte played in many traditional training, jazz and variety (as the Lyon National Orchestra under the direction of Emmanuel Krivine and Serge Baudo)
Following the example of his elders and Meyniel Gérard Jean-Marie Londeix he founded in 1997 Saxophone & Organ duo with organist Jean-Willy Kunz, duo continue until today with different organists partners, including Joseph Coppey .

Having experienced some unpublished directories with such an instrument, such as traditional music mixed improvisation in jazz style, Frédéric Lagoutte, at saxophones soprano or alto, offers for the World Saxophone Congress with Joseph Coppey at the organ a demonstration of some parts of the repertoire says “classic” of all ages. You can hear as well as beautiful transcripts originally written works for saxophone. They hope and convince both the general public and the most demanding fans of the success of the alliance of the two instruments, organ and saxophone.
