The young composer Kohei Ueno is known for winning the 2nd prize in Adolph Sax Concours in 2014. His Sonata is a dedication to Japan and an addition to contemporary saxophone repertoire.
Biography
1992 born. Ibaraki Prefecture, Tokai-mura born. I start the saxophone brass band from 8 years old. So far Sugawa Nobuya, Tsurukai 奈民, he studied to Messrs original Hiromi.
12th Junior saxophone Competition # 1, 7th Japan Junior Wind and Percussion Competition Gold, after having won the same 10th gold medal, and numerous awards,
In the 28th Japan Wind and Percussion Competition saxophone department, was awarded the first place (the youngest), as well as special grand prize (the Prime Minister’s Award, Education, Culture, Sports, Science Minister’s Prize, Governor of Tokyo Award).
Through February-March 2012, and co-starring in a guest appearance to all over the country in a global saxophonist Sugawa Nobuya’s is mentor “Sugawa Nobuya EX Tour 2012″. I Hakusuru the Kohyo.

New Sonata by Yutaka Osaka are those not in the world of saxophone until now. Complete fusion of romantic style and modern techniques I seen. High notes that more than a “ballad” of Frank Martin is incorporated into the romanticism. It’s very difficult sonata, but have not yet seen one person that did not praised this sonata.
