Biography
UZUME is the Japanese god of gaiety. All four musicians in the UZUME Saxophone Quartet are Japanese nationals. Graduates from the most prestigious Japanese universities, the four met in France during their studies at the National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris in Claude Delangle’s saxophone class. Their recitals are principally in France, where they are also involved in educational outreach programs, allowing others to discover the potential of the saxophone.
