The students of the Lausanne High School (prof. Pierre-Stephane Meugé) will perform the very singular piece by Karlheinz Stockhausen for saxophone ensemble, percussion and synthesizer, commissioned in 1986 by Vandoren and performed by Claude Delangle’s class at the CNSM in Paris in 1991. This work is written with special movements for the saxophonists while playing, a kind of slight choreography which is part of the score and became the performance also visual.
