More informations
Saxophone and accordion are two of the youngest and perhaps most underappreciated acoustic instruments, which are most commonly associated with jazz and folk music, respectively. In Duo Aliada, the two join together in a risky, but exciting project. With its impressive approach to famous classical repertoire, Duo Aliada proves the great potential that lies in the combination of these two neglected instruments. Duo Aliada’s name emphasizes the “allied sound” of the saxophone and accordion, two instruments based on the same principle of sound production: air. The wide range of acoustic and technical possibilities of this alliance enables a sublime and united ensemble sound.
