Wapango Saxophone Quartet bring together 36 students coming from Rhone Alpes region. They present «Espaces», by Marybel Dessagnes and «In extremis» by Jeff Baud, movie by Lucille Killmayer.
Biography
Wapango Saxophone Quartet is a group of friends working in Rhône-Alpes region. In the whish to make live to their students the exceptional World Saxophone Congress & Festival experience, they imagine and propose a project open to a large scope of learning saxophonists, whith whom they are working in their own music schools.
For this adventure, each member of the quartet brings 9 students. Together, they constitute a group of 36 saxophonists, from 1st to 3rd cycle levels.
These students come from the cities of Miribel (01), La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornand (74), Frangy (74), Evian (74), Echirolles (38) and Pont de Claix (38).
